ADHD ASSESSMENT
Comprehensive evaluations are offered for children, adolescents, and adults who present with inattention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity.
TREATMENT SERVICES FOR ADHD
Individuals diagnosed with ADHD are offered treatment services designed to help them develop important skills to function effectively, including:
- ADHD Foundation Sessions that cover fundamental Information for understanding ADHD.
- Periodic Follow Up Sessions at 6-month intervals for the purpose of monitoring symptom levels and functioning, and to address any ongoing concerns. A summary report is sent to the prescribing physician.
- Executive Function Skills Training Sessions that focus on helping individuals develop time management skills, organizational skills, starting and completing tasks, reducing forgetfulness, decreasing procrastination, prioritizing, and dealing with distractions. (Offered to older children, adolescents, and adults.)
- Therapy to manage other conditions such as anxiety and depression, which often co-occur with ADHD and can interfere with the individual’s functioning.
